"Trust, But Verify"

Suzanne Massie, a writer on Russia, met with President Ronald Reagan many times between 1984 and 1987.[1] She taught him the Russian proverb, "doveryai no proveryai" (trust, but verify) advising him that "The Russians like to talk in proverbs. It would be nice of you to know a few. You are an actor – you can learn them very quickly."[2] The proverb was adopted as a signature phrase by Reagan, who subsequently used it frequently when discussing U.S. relations with the Soviet Union.- Wikipedia

I have an Ad running on Facebook right now including the statement, "In today’s real estate market, you need to work with a real estate professional you can trust."

But, if you've never met me, never heard of me and don't know me from Adam, how can you know whether you can trust me?  That's a good question. I'm glad you asked.

To start with, you can talk to my past customers. They'll tell you about their journey as they either sought to sell or buy a home.  I have no idea what they will say, but I'm confident in providing you their contact info (with their permission) because I worked hard for them to help them achieve their desired goals.

Next, you can talk with me personally, well before you decide to allow me to serve you.  Have you ever heard someone mention that they have to talk to their lawyer or their stock broker, accountant or doctor before making a decision?  The difference between me and those other professionals is that it doesn't cost you $100-$400 per hour to talk to your real estate broker about your real property goals.

My mission is to be your real estate broker for life. I want to help you achieve your goals, find your kids that perfect starter home or help you sell and retire in comfort in the setting of your dreams. Don't own any real estate?  Start talking to me now about how to start acquiring real estate as a solid hedge against inflation.  Not ready to sell your home right now?  Begin the thought process of preparing yourself and your home to capitalize on the best market conditions possible when you ARE ready or need to sell.

You see, we all prefer to do business with someone we know and TRUST.  The best time to get to know and trust someone is BEFORE you NEED to trust them with your business.

So Trust me, but verify that I can do the job you need me to do before you need to select a real estate professional.

This year promises to be an ideal year to Buy or Sell a home.  Interest rates are remaining low while rents are climbing.  The supply of homes is still low which is creating new equity for homeowners that they haven't had for many years making this the best scenario in years for home-sellers.

Let's get together soon and discuss your real estate needs in the future.  Whether that future is this year or five years from now, you'll get the opportunity to see if I am the right person to help you buy or sell your home.

I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Steve Fryer II
